Pieology Pizzeria is known for its seriously delicious artisan pizzas, but the McAllen, TX Pieology franchise also has a deep commitment to lending their hand in helping community. AON Group knows that communities need creativity and unity more than ever before so they have been actively looking to share their love of people, and pizza in the Rio Grande Valley.

The franchise has been generous in their support for local organizations. In early February, the franchise donated 200 gallons of hand sanitizers to City Fire Department Edinburg – this was followed by an enthusiastic encouragement from them that Guests and members should support a Toy RIDE charity event collecting Christmas gifts for children at Boys & Girls Club Pharr- San Juan! Games were also collected which will assist with afterschool programs as well summer camps in the coming year.

“We love helping our community any way we can and are grateful to be able to give back to our local heroes,” says Agustin Guzman. He and his co-owner Juan Garza opened their first Pieology in Edinburg in 2018 and their second restaurant in McAllen two years ago. “We want people to experience and really enjoy what Pieology is all about. We love to give the people the freedom to choose and connect with each other. We’re passionate about that.”

Earn some dough when you schedule a pizza fundraiser today.

When it comes to easy fundraising, you’ll find thousands of great ideas, but none as easy as when you schedule a pizza fundraiser at Pieology.  There are many options when it comes to fundraising.  From bake sales to pancake breakfasts, to raffle ticket sales, there are many ways you can earn money for your organization.

The problem is, every fundraising opportunity comes along with a cost of someone’s time, and sometimes money too.

At Pieology, we believe the best fundraisers are ones that are simple, easy, and where no one has to bake, or cook, anything!

That’s why we offer a simple, easy fundraiser that takes place right in your nearest Pieology restaurant.  All you have to do to get started is sign up with our fundraising form.  You send people in to eat pizza, and we give back 20% of the profits*.  You can even have them order online at pieology.com for pickup or delivery and get those profits too!

So next time you are looking for the best way to make money for your non-profit, find your nearest Pieology location!  Talk with your organization about scheduling a “Pizza for a Purpose” night.  We support schools, charities, churches and other nonprofit organizations.

How much can I earn?

If you’re wondering how it works out: Most groups bring in around 100 people to eat.  Many will earn around $250-$300 from the dine-out event.  But, the sky’s the limit, and you can definitely earn much more if you get the word out in your neighborhood.

How does a Pieology fundraiser work?

We believe fundraising should be easy, fun and uncomplicated. Here’s How It Works:

1. Fill out our fundraising request form at https://pieology.com/fundraising-requests/

2. Confirm the date with your local Pieology Restaurant

3. Spread the word using provided flyer and social media graphics for your supporters to order on your specific day-they can order in-restaurant or use an online code for online ordering.

4. We’ll donate a percentage of sale you bring in back to your organization-excluding alcohol and gift card sales.

Where or who can I speak to about scheduling a fundraiser?

You can visit your local Pieology or submit a request at https://pieology.com/fundraising-requests/ and the location will reach out to you to coordinate your in-store and online event.

After my event, how long does it take to receive our donation?

At the time of booking your event, you should provide the local Pieology with your W-9 for your organization. This will help speed up the check process. Please allow up to 3 weeks to receive your donation.

What % of proceeds go to the cause?

In general, 20% is given back to your organization.  Our restaurants are independently owned and operated and might have slightly different fundraising rules or giveback percentages.  Please confirm with your local store when you book your fundraiser.

How soon will I know if my fundraising event has been approved?

Someone from your local Pieology will contact you about your request within 72 hours of submission.

What types of fundraising opportunities do you work with?

We are excited to welcome any organization registered as a nonprofit/501c(3)/tax-exempt organization to request a fundraising event. We request a federal tax ID (TIN/EIN) to confirm your organization’s nonprofit status.

Is there a guideline on how much each fundraiser should make?

The success of your fundraiser will depend largely on the number of people you get ordering pizza that day.  However, most fundraisers make between $100-$500 depending on the support their receive.

How else can Pieology support my community outside of hosting a fundraiser?
